Will adopting a child fulfill your dreams of becoming a parent?
YES it sure can! Thousands of couples realize there dreams by adopting a little one. My wife’s sister was blessed when she adopted her son Sasha a few years back. Now recently a friend of mine adopted the most beautiful little girl, Eegee. So I was honored when Mary called me up and asked if I would design her new business card with a picture of her daughter on it.
The boys love my hats. They think it’s so funny to take them off my head and then put them back on. I think this may have been the second sign he ever learned.
Now here’s Morgan teaching you how to say “HAT”

My sons love this fun and exciting twist on the classic bed time tradition of counting sheep before bed.
Russel the Sheep by Rob Scotton is about Russel’s struggle to achieve a simple goal, sleep. The book is full of giggles and laughs with adorable illustrations. It’s also short enough to keep my 2 year old’s attention and expressful enough to keep my 1 year old wanting more.
I give this book 4 sidekicks out of 5 (my version of stars)
I was hoping to get this up on Friday, but Thursday night I got the flu. After 3 days of laying in a dark room trying not to contaminate the rest of my family I’m finally back playing with the kids.
The flu slowed me down a little and the newest Team Spectacular comic will be up later tonight, I just have a few touch ups to do before I post it. Till then Morgan wanted to tell you where he wanted to go when he saw I was feeling better.
“Outside!”

Recently a new kids show on Nickelodeon has grabbed the attention of my two boys.
Team Umizoomi is an animated/live action show which encourages the development of “math powers”. I have to say not only are my kids hooked, so am I.
As someone in the animation industry I’m pretty hard on kid shows. But when it comes to Team Umizoomi the artists and production staff have organized something unique. The use of live action with animation is seamless, you just except they’re all living in the same world. Like Dora the Explorer the three main characters: Geo, Milli and Bot, love to ask your kids for help. Once you’ve solved the episodes mystery you’re rewarded with the “Umi-Shake” an awesome little dance that my kids love seeing me do.
I don’t hesitate to give Team Umizoomi 4 sidekicks out of 5 (my version of stars

Every preemie child has to deal with his own battles. Many have trouble using their fine motor skills. This means they have trouble picking up small objects, delays in walking, and speech.
We’ve been working with the little guy but he’s almost 2 and can only say one and a half words; Mama and Dada. Sure there are some grunts and groans that both Jodi and I understand to be “banana” and “up”. While dealing with this…BING…a light went on….Jodi and I started teaching Morgan sign language.
Now the problem is Jodi and I don’t know sign language. We’re both on a mission now to learn a word a day. This gave me a new idea, I should post Morgan’s sign language development (along with Jodi and mine). Which also brings us to “End of the Week Signs”. For the next few months I’m going to post a video on Fridays teaching a new sign…but it’s not really going to be me teaching you, it’ll be Morgan.
And today Morgan wants to teach you to say, FOOD PLEASE.
It’s just about time for me to start putting the next Team Spectacular book together. I thought in this one it might be nice to have some fan drawings placed in the back few pages. This is open artist and non-artists, I encourage everyone to submit a drawing. My goal is to put as many submissions in the book as I can. As a bonus anyone who’s drawing gets in will get a free copy of the book. Sounds like fun? Well then get drawing, you have till March 1st to get your drawings in. Email your submissions to scott@team-spectacular.com
By submitting your drawing, you understand that TEAM SPECTACULAR is (C) Scott Wright, and you are giving me the right to redistribute and use your drawing in any form for eternity. I will always credit the source, of course.
I can’t believe it was just a week ago when Kade started to crawl. You’re going to be amazed at what Jodi and I saw on New Years Day. What a suprise to the new year.
